ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Danny Verbrugge, a native of Colombia and now a proud resident of Grand Rapids, has a Bachelor’s degree in International Development and Spanish from Calvin University and a Master's in Hispanic Studies, with a focus on Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition from Western Michigan University. Throughout his career, Danny has worked in nearly every position in the non-profit sector, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the challenges communities face. Recognizing a critical need for equitable access to services for English-Language Limited (ELL) individuals, he founded Linguistics International, LLC. The company provides interpreting training and language services, harnessing local talent to address these barriers. With a mission to foster inclusion and promote upward mobility, Danny is dedicated to empowering individuals, enabling their meaningful participation in society, and creating pathways for sustainable growth and success.
